My baby HATES fried chicken!

So I had my 12 week visit a couple weeks ago and got the results today that everything is NEGATIVE!! Yeah! It was the Neucal Translucency (NT) test, to see if my child has neuralogical problems or birth defects. All clear! Praise God!
I guess my baby is so healthy and on the up and up that he/she refused to have any nastiness enter its domain. I don't blame the guy. The KFC we got as a lazy last resort was gross. Tasted like it had been sitting there all day, but it was only 11 am! All this to say, when I got home, I did not smell a funky smell, nor did I see anything unsightly...I just suddenly projectile vomited! Again, very violent, as if the baby were telling me; don't ever treat your body or me this way agin!!!
Ok ok! I get the message! Geeze! I had my first warning with that greasy burger I ate back at week 8 or 9.
Now I am officially in my 14th week. No nausea, really. Only if I smell something weird. I am slowly getting my energy back. I ordered a series of Zumba exercise DVDs, and I am quite enjoying them.
We are continuting to pray and trust that Kevin's job will be here any day now. It's hard being on Cobra (so expensive) and waiting for the bill to come in the mail, hoping the $ amount isn't to high. I was so scared that the NT test was gonna be outrageous! My friend Barb (pictured above) said that her doc told her most insurances don't cover that test. MY doc told us that most do! Oiy! So much miscommunication out there!
Speaking of miscommunication, there are so many choices to choose from in baby gear! What's the best car seat? Is this the best jogging stroller?! Should I use glass bottles instead of plastic! Everyone says something different!!!!
At the end of the day I say this....if people in the 1800s could survive on what little they did have, I think we'll be alright if we just make sure we at least have the basics to take a baby home from the hospital.
